Sunday Scoop!

I'm linking up once again with the Teaching Trio for the Sunday Scoop:

Report cards go out this Friday, so I've got some work to do!

Yes, we are THOSE people who still have a few Christmas decorations up... Those HAVE to be put away today!

Meal prep for the week has been getting easier since I've started planning things out on Sundays. Hopefully I can keep this up. Some weeks I feel like my boys are little Tazmanian Devils devouring everything in sight!

I hope to spend some snuggle time with my boys today!! Having 3 kiddos, I've always tried to make sure that we do special one-on-one things with each one of them. Last night was my date night at Disney on Ice with my middle man. It was MAGICAL! I mean, just look at this face:

The best part was the Lion King segment. The costumes were absolutely beautiful and, as always, the music makes those little hairs on the back of your neck stand up!

Last week Chris from the Scoop in Second Grade nominated me for the Liebster Award! It is such an honor and a great feeling to know that people are actually reading (and liking) what I put up on here. Thank you so much Chris! I hope to finish my acceptance post for it today, so check back later!

And lastly, to all you hockey fans out there.. tune in to NBC at 12:30 today to watch the Rangers CRUSH the Penguins (hopefully, fingers crossed!) I'm wearing all my Rangers gear today and so are the boys... Hey, it's only weird if it doesn't work!

Happy Sunday :)

  3. I've started to plan our 'menu' for the week again- saves time and money but not sure how long all manage to keep it up for this time- good intentions and all that!!! Have a lovely week (I'm sure it will be an amazing one if your team wins!) Xx

  4. Disney on Ice would be amazing! A few more years, and my little man will be able to sit through shows. We've been meal-planning regularly for a few months, and it helps SO much. Hope you have a great week! Thanks for linking up!

  5. Stacie,
I love that you take time to spend one on one time with each of your sons. I am sure it will lead to beautiful relationships with them as they grow older. I like meal planning on Sundays before the grocery store trip because then it is one less decision I have to make during the week. I fell like as a teacher I make so many decisions at school and want someone else to be the boss when I get home.

  7. I'm a Blue Jacket fan so anyone who beats the Pens is tops in my book! How are you planning your meals? I'm such a last-minute cook and wish I could get in the routine of planning to save my peace of mind...

    1. Down go the Penguins!! The Rangers are my team, but I do love the Blue Jackets, you guys gave us Rick Nash!!
I am a total last minute cook too! I've been trying to get into the routine of meal planning on the weekends and it's getting better. I started using a meal planning sheet that I made (you can find it in an earlier post) and it helps. I scour through cookbooks and online blogs for recipe inspiration then try to plan what I feel like eating for the week.
      Good luck,
      Stacie
